Phosphating is a chemical process by which the surface of a metal material is altered, creating phosphate crystals chemically bound to the substrate in order to exploit the properties of these compounds to improve the resistance to corrosion and favor the adhesion of the subsequent painting.

It is the most effective and complete surface treatment to obtain total cleaning of the surfaces; the projection of abrasives exploits the impact strength of the grits to totally eliminate dirt, rust, calamine, and residues of previous painting. It is a very rapid and effective pre-treatment but it can never be adopted on parts with thicknesses less than 3mm.

Using a special tool we go to detect the gloss of the surfaces

There are two methods of detecting thickness, wet and dry. In wet by means of a special instrument we go to detect the thickness from wet directly at the painting stage, in dry the measurement is done at the end of the firing using a digital instrument.

It is a test that allows us to check the proper adhesion of the various layers of paint on the substrate.

Delta-E is the color variation in the three cardinal points, by means of a digital instrument the color can be checked between batch and manufacturing batch.
